Opportunity To Share Your Story

Patient Access for Florida is a coalition of organizations committed to ensuring access to health care and treatment for Floridians. This legislative session, the coalition is working with a number of patient and provider groups to propose critical patient protection amendments that will ensure continuity of care, formulary requirements, safeguard access to prior authorized medicines and eliminate step-therapy or fail first protocols for Floridians.

Over the next months there will be different opportunities to get involved and share your story to help others, such as placing phone calls to legislators, in-person meetings, testifying at committee meetings, and signing onto an opinion editorial, letter to the editor or letter to your legislator.

If you know anyone who has had experiences with any of the issues to access listed, please contact Rebecca Mahony. She is a coordinator for the coalition, and you can reach her at rebeccam@moorecommgroup.com or 850-224-0174. Rebecca would love to talk to anyone willing to share their story so we can all work toward our goal of strengthening patient protections in Florida.

You can connect with Patient Access for Florida on Facebook at www.facebook.com/PatientAccessFL on Facebook to share your thoughts, and follow the coalition on Twitter @PatientAccessFL for legislative updates.

Thank you for your help.
